Sandhiya Loganathan

Sandhiya Loganathan has been performing Bollywood dance since the age of seven. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, and that classical foundation shows in how she teaches Bollywood: over more than a decade of training and performance she has built expertise across classical Bollywood, folk fusion, and contemporary styles, with the line and precision that classical training gives a dancer.

Her discipline came from two directions. Alongside dance, Sandhiya competed as a national-level table tennis player in India, and she carries a marketing career into the academy's day-to-day work. That combination of artist, athlete, and operator is part of why Spotlight Academy runs sports and enrichment programs beside the performing arts.

Sandhiya is one of the co-founders of Spotlight Academy, helping build the institution from the ground up since 2023 into the thriving arts education community it is today. She serves as the lead choreographer for Spotlight Academy's annual children's showcases - productions she designs with care to give every student a genuine moment to shine on stage.

Sandhiya believes that performance confidence is something that can be taught - and that the best way to teach it is to put students on stage. Her classes are designed around the showcase experience: every choreography she teaches is something her students will actually perform, in front of an audience, with the lights on.

She teaches with energy, warmth, and a deep commitment to celebrating every student's progress. In her classes, no one is left behind, and everyone gets their moment.
